This tutorial will guide you through the process of integrating Revyoos widgets into your Avantio Booking Engine page by leveraging Google Tag Manager (GTM).


1. Configure the Revyoos Universal Code in Google Tag Manager (GTM)

First, you need to ensure the universal Revyoos code is set up in your GTM account. This code allows you to add floating widgets to your page without requiring additional code snippets later.

Follow the Revyoos setup guide:

  1. You will be instructed to create a new Custom HTML Tag in your GTM workspace.
  2. You will then learn how to assign specific URLs where you want your Revyoos widgets to be displayed.

2. Add Your GTM ID to Avantio's Configuration

Once your GTM container is set up with the Revyoos tag, you must ensure Avantio knows how to load GTM on your Booking Engine.

  1. Find Your Google Tag Manager ID:

    • Open your Google Tag Manager dashboard.

    • The GTM ID (it looks like GTM-XXXXXXX) is displayed in the top right corner of the screen. Copy this ID.

  2. Configure Avantio:

    • Log into your Avantio administrative panel.

    • Navigate to the Web section.

    • Select Website Settings.

    • Find the "Analytics Tools" section.



  3. Enter the GTM ID:

    • In the dropdown menu under "Analytics Tools," select Google Tag Manager.

    • In the Key field that appears, paste your GTM ID (the GTM-XXXXXXX code you copied in step 1).

  4. Save the Changes:

    • Save your settings in Avantio.


3. Verify the Integration

After completing these steps:

  1. Avantio will now load your Google Tag Manager container on your Booking Engine page.
  2. GTM will execute the Revyoos Universal Code based on the tag and triggers you configured in Step 1.
  3. The Revyoos widgets will appear on the pages (URLs) you specified in your Revyoos account for each widget.
