Guesty Widget Integration

This step-by-step guide will help you embed your Revyoos widget into your Guesty website using the Universal Code. This method ensures that Revyoos widgets load correctly across your Guesty site.

📌 Step 1: Locate the Universal Code from Revyoos

  1. Go to your Revyoos account and navigate to Widgets. Either click Global, Custom or Property Widgets. Click Configure Design icon.  


  2.  Select Install Tab and Universal. Copy the universal code.


đź›  Step 2: Paste the Code into Guesty


Guesty provides two types of websites for its users:
  1. Client Website: A customizable website managed through Guesty’s CMS.
  2. Booking Engine Website: A booking page automatically generated by Guesty.
Below are the steps to add Revyoos code to each type of website.

🖥️ Opction 1. Integrating Revyoos Code into the Client Website

To insert Revyoos code into the <head> section of your custom Client Website:
  1. Sign in to your Guesty Account.
  2. Navigate to Website Builder.
  3. In the side panel, click SEO & Settings.
  4. Click Head HTML.
  5. Locate the Head HTML field.
  6. Paste your Revyoos code into this field.
  7. Click Save.

đź§ľ Option 2. Integrating Revyoos Code into the Booking Engine Website



To insert Revyoos code into the <head> section of your Booking Engine Website:
  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Click the Guesty Booking Engine thumbnail.
  5. Click the vertical ellipsis icon (â‹®) next to the relevant Booking Engine and select Edit Booking Engine.
  6. Under “Custom code snippet”, click Advanced.
  7. Toggle on Turn on custom code snippet.
  8. Paste your Revyoos code into the text field.
  9. Click Save.

🌍 Step 3: Add the Page URLs in Revyoos


Once the Universal Code is in place on your Guesty website, you can specify where each widget should appear:
  1. In your Revyoos dashboard, go to the Installation tab of the widget you want to install.
  2. In the URL field, enter the specific web page(s) where you want the widget to be visible.
  3. After adding each URL, it will appear in the list below the input field.
  4. The widget will automatically display on all the pages listed there.
đź’ˇ Best Practice: This setup works especially well with floating widgets, such as the Floating Tabs or Circle types.

đź§© Step 4 (Additional): Find the Positioning Code for Embedded Widgets


⚠️ This step is only required for embedded widgets (Wall and Slider). Floating widgets do not require this step because they are automatically positioned on the screen.

If you’re using an embedded widgets Wall and Slider), you need to add a small piece of HTML code to your Guesty page to define where the widget will appear.

  1. Simply copy and paste this code into the Guesty content editor where you want the widget to appear — for example, in your homepage content or a specific page section.
Find the embed code for a Global or Custom Widget in the Installation section:
  1. Under Display section, expand Widgets. Choose Global or Custom Widget. 

    
      3. Click Configure.

      
      4. Click on the Install tab. Simply copy and paste the Placement code into the Guesty content editor where you want the widget to appear — for example, in your homepage content or a specific page section.
