How to collect reviews from Google Maps
Why aren’t all Google reviews being imported into my Revyoos account?
Keep in mind that Revyoos only imports original Google reviews, those written and published on Google. Google Maps and Google Travel may also publish reviews from other sources. If you want to import reviews from Airbnb, Booking, Vrbo, Expedia, Tripadvisor, or Trustpilot, you can do so by directly adding the links to these pages from the Booking Channels tab of each of your properties.
Are you looking to import reviews of your vacation rental property or business into Revyoos? One of the key steps is to find and copy the URL of your Google Maps listing, which displays the reviews. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do just that:
Step 1: Find Your Property or Business on Google Maps
- Open your web browser and go to Google Maps (maps.google.com).
- In the search bar, type the name of your property or business followed by the location (e.g., “Cozy Cottage, New York”).
- Press Enter or click on the magnifying glass icon to initiate the search.
Step 2: Locate Your Listing
Once the search results appear, look for your property or business listing on the map. It should be marked with a pin or a highlighted area.
Step 3: Access the Reviews
- Click on the listing for your property or business. This will bring up a panel on the left side of the screen with more details.
- Click on the tab Reviews. Here, you’ll find star ratings and written reviews left by previous visitors or customers.
Step 4: Copy the URL
- While viewing the reviews section, look at the address bar of your web browser. The URL displayed there is the unique link to your property or business on Google Maps.
- You can highlight the URL and press Ctrl + C (Cmd + C on Mac) to copy it.
Step 5: Paste the URL into Revyoos
Now that you have copied the URL of your Google Maps listing, you can easily import the reviews into your Revyoos account. Here’s how:
- Open Revyoos and log in to your account.
- Find your property in the list of properties and click on its title.
- On the property page, click on the “Booking Channels” tab.
- In this form, you can add the copied URL.
- Press the “Add source” button.
By following these simple steps, you can quickly find and copy the Google Maps URL for reviews of your property or business. Importing these reviews into Revyoos allows you to centralize and manage all your rental property or business reviews in one place, making it easier to track feedback and improve your reputation.
