How to collect reviews from Google Travel

Why aren’t all Google reviews being imported into my Revyoos account?

Keep in mind that Revyoos only imports original Google reviews, those written and published on Google. Google Maps and Google Travel may also publish reviews from other sources. If you want to import reviews from Airbnb, Booking, Vrbo, Expedia, Tripadvisor, or Trustpilot, you can do so by directly adding the links to these pages from the Booking Channels tab of each of your properties.

Hotel-type properties are not supported.

This type of listing corresponds to links such as "Google/Travel/Hotel/Entity", which are not compatible with Revyoos. As a result, we are unable to process or import reviews from Google Travel for these types of properties.


Are you ready to import reviews of your vacation rental property or business into Revyoos? One of the essential steps is to find and copy the URL of your Google Travel listing, which contains the reviews. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do just that:

Step 1: Visit Google Travel

  1. Open your web browser and go to Google Travel by visiting www.google.com/travel.
  2. Select “Vacation rentals” either from the header menu or underneath the search bar.


Step 2: Search for Your Property or Business

  1. In the search bar at the top of the page, type the name of your property or business followed by the location (e.g., “Sunny Beach House, Miami”).
  2. Press Enter or click on the search icon to begin the search.


Step 3: Locate Your Listing

Once the search results appear, find your property or business listing among the results. It should display information such as photos, reviews, and a map location.

Step 4: Access the Reviews

  1. Click on your property or business listing to view more details.
  2. Look for the section containing reviews from previous travelers. This section typically includes star ratings and written reviews.

There are two ways to access the reviews:

Option 1: Click on the “Reviews” tab from the details panel that appears alongside the search results.
Option 2: Click on the icon resembling a square with an inclined arrow. This opens the property details on a separate page. From there, you can also click on the “Reviews” tab.




Step 5: Copy the URL

  1. While viewing the reviews section, take note of the address bar in your web browser. The URL displayed there is the unique link to your property or business on Google Travel.
  2. Right-click on the URL and select “Copy” from the context menu. Alternatively, you can highlight the URL and press Ctrl + C (Cmd + C on Mac) to copy it.

Step 6: Paste the URL into Revyoos

Now that you have copied the URL of your Google Travel listing, you can easily import the reviews into your Revyoos account. Here’s how:
  1. Open Revyoos and log in to your account.
  2. ​Find your property in the list of properties and click on its title.
  3. ​On the property page, click on the “Booking Channels” tab.
  4. ​In this form, you can add the copied URL.
  5. ​Press the “Add source” button.
By following these straightforward steps, you can quickly find and copy the Google Travel URL containing reviews of your property or business. Importing these reviews into Revyoos allows you to streamline your review management process, enabling you to track feedback and enhance your reputation effectively.
