How to import reviews with a file
If you have a local review database, you can also import it into Revyoos (only available under “Business” and “Business AI” Plans).
- Access the import tool from the main menu or from the property details for which you want to import the reviews.
- To manually import reviews, download the CSV or Excel file template and fill it with all the reviews you want to import.
- Upload the file, select the property and click on the Import button.
The following details are required, and we provide a template for your convenience:
- Name: The name of the user who wrote the review
- Rating: The rating given in the review
- Date (yyyy-mm-dd): The review’s publication date (e.g., 2021-12-31)
- Listing site name: The platform where the review was published (e.g., Airbnb). If no longer online, you can list your business or property name.
- URL: The link to the review. If unavailable, you can provide your property’s webpage.
- Review Title: The review’s title (optional).
- Review Comment: The content of the review.
- Owner Response: Your reply to the review (optional).
Pay attention to the format of the import file. The separator must be semicolon (;) and make sure there are no blanks. You can download and use the templates that we provide as a help.
From the Import tab, you can upload the Excel or CSV file with your reviews.
By clicking on the “View imported files” button, you can view the history of uploaded files. By clicking the X, you can delete the file and its reviews. This allows you to upload it again if you’ve made changes.
