Wix Widget Integration

This step-by-step guide will help you embed your Revyoos widget into your Wix website using the legacy embed code. This method is ideal for users who prefer the classic “List” or “Slider” templates.

Step 1: Retrieve the Widget Code from Revyoos

  1. Log in to your Revyoos dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the widget you wish to install. Under Display section, expand Widgets. Choose Global, Custom or Property Widget. The succeeding steps apply to all types of widgets.

    
      3. Click Configure.

     
      4. Under Template tab, ensure the selected one is either Wall or Slider. 



      5. Click on the Install tab. Copy the Standalone HTML embed code.

Step 2: Embed the Widget into Your Wix Site

  1. Log in to your Wix account and open the Editor for the site where you want to add the widget.
  2. Navigate to the page where you want the widget to appear.
  3. Click on Add Elements (the “+” icon) on the left-hand side.
  4. Select Embed Code > Embed HTML.
  5. An HTML container will appear on your page. Click on it, then click Enter Code.
  6. Paste the Revyoos widget code you copied earlier into the HTML settings panel.
  7. Click Apply to save the changes.
  8. Resize and reposition the HTML container as needed to fit your page layout.

Troubleshooting

If the widget does not display as expected:
  1. Check the Embed Code: Ensure that the code was copied correctly from Revyoos.
  2. Verify Template Selection: Confirm that you’re using the “Wall” or “Slider” template, as other templates may not be compatible with the legacy embed method.
