Universal Code: The Key to Displaying Widgets

To install Revyoos widgets on a WordPress (or any other) website, you need to insert a unique script called the Universal Code on every page where you want the widgets to appear.

Important Considerations

While creating a backup of the site before proceeding is highly recommended, it is not strictly necessary. However, we strongly advise conducting the installation on a staging environment first. Please contact your web administrator to perform this process. 

Installation Steps

1. Install a Head Editing Plugin

While we recommend using the HFCM plugin, any plugin that allows you to edit the WordPress head section will work for this purpose.

Installing HFCM Plugin:

• Under the Plugin menu, click Add Plugin
• Search for HFCM
• Ensure the plugin is compatible with your current WordPress version
• Do not proceed if it is not compatible
• Once it shows "Compatible with your WordPress version", click Install Now
• Click Activate to complete the installation

2. Add the Universal Code

Once your head editing plugin is activated (using HFCM as example):

1. Click Add New Snippet:

2. Copy the Universal Code from your Revyoos account:

3. Paste it into the new HFCM Snippet in WordPress.

4. Fill out the required fields as indicated below:
- Add a Snippet Name of your choice
- Optionally, add pages or posts to exclude from showing Revyoos widgets

5. Click Save

Once the Universal Code is added, your widgets will be ready for configuration and display.
